iPad3 – Does it Really Exist?

The answer is, yes the iPad3 tablet does exist.Unless you have been living on a deserted island with no internet, you’d probably know that Apple unveiled their latest offering back in March.

But they are not calling it the iPad3 – all the pundits and consumers are. So you would be forgiven for thinking such a product did not exist. Apple simply call it the new iPad.. Truth is, it is an updated model that offers whispers of change, almost imperceptible at first glance. But the definitely different and offers the iPad fans a whole lot of visual clarity.

The reviews are mixed and the Apple forum is filled with comments that range from poor recharging times to bad connections. We battled to find an all-glowing review that could offer the iPad the full thumbs up. However, that said, remember that the Apple crowd are hard task masters and demand a very high level at all times (rightly so) – also, the build up to the release of the latest iPad was huge and the expectations ran very high.

The screen is essentially what makes this iPad different from any other. A quick look and this is what is new about the third generation iPad…

+ The Retina Display -offers twice the resolution of the iPad 2, at 2048 x 1536 pixels (264px/in) – it is a marked improvement on the iPad2
+ A 5 megapixel rear-facing camera – it takes photos with over 8x higher quality and resolution than the iPad 2 (but still no flash available)
+ The 1GHz A5X Dual-core processor with quad-core graphics – great for the power user with better multitasking and absolutely flawless high-res graphics performance
+ 4G LTE capable – faster mobile connections on AT&T and Verizon when in 4G-LTE-covered network area

But what is the bottom line? How good an improvement is the so-called iPad3 when compared to the iPad2?
