Being that I’m notorious for not reading directions, I’ll just repeat what other reviews here have said: You are given crystal clear written and video instructions on how to successfully install this screen protector on your device. Read the instructions. Watch the video. It will help you have a good experience and calm any nagging unfounded fears.

Of utmost import… believe the instructions (and reviewers) when they tell you that any bubbles showing up after installation will disappear after about three days. The bubbles do in fact all disappear in about three days. I had one particular stubborn bubble that I became increasingly cocksure wouldn’t disappear. Sure enough, it disappeared.

Follow the directions and all will be well in your world.

Wanted to protect my ‘newer’ galaxy tab plus and looked at reviews on both low- ($3.00) and high-end ($25.00) screen protectors. Found this intermediately priced option from ArmorSuit MilitaryShield and decided to give it a try. I was mindful of people’s comments regarding aftermarket screen protectors, including 1) the permanent imperfections after the application was complete like bumps due to dust, and bubbles where the adhesive failed,and 2) the increased tackiness of the shield compared with the original glass. After the package arrived, I studied the instructions and went to ArmorSuit’s online video demo of the application procedure. After 15 min of review I went for it. The protector fit perfectly (cutouts were right on the money) and 24 hrs later, you can’t even tell there’s a protector on my device. I stress the 24 hours, because it did look a bit ‘messy’ for the first few hours after application: bubbles, what looked like scratches…just all sorts of little blemishes. But a day later, wiped it clean and it looks perfect. Also, I didn’t notice any increase in friction before and after application of this shield, which ultimately would have been a deal breaker for me, since the whole attraction of these devices is the touchscreen interface. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the results, and I will use ArmorSuit products for all my devices in the future.

The reason I am writing this review is because I badly installed this screen protector on my Samsung 7 inch Galaxy and left some ugly bubbles inside. When I noticed, it was too late, so I went forward and purchased another. However, in about 4 days all the bubbles were gone and the installation looked professional. So now I end up with a second protector which I will not use.

The look of the protector is great. Based on my experience I strongly recommend this product. I also own a Toshiba to which I installed the other recognized brand. It is not bad either but my feeling this one is far better. I strongly recommend it to anyone wishing to protect the tablet’s screen.

I usually will go and have my screen protectors installed. I decided to give this a whirl and installed in just a few minutes without any issues. I do see a few bubbles but will give them a few days and should go away. Fast shipping, product as described. Very pleased so far with this product and installation was a breeze. Just make sure to keep it wet while applying and will have no issues.

After my girlfriend bought a regular 3-pack of screen protector to put onto her transformer and failed all three times, I decided that I was going to go with a screen protector that had wet application. I have a challenging time putting on a screen protector on phones that are 3-4 inches, so I can only imaging trying to put one on a 7-inch tablet, straight, without getting bubbles or small pieces of lint underneath in the process.

After watching the installation video and applying it onto the tablet, I left it alone for 24 hours. When I returned the next day, there were about six bubbles, one of them the size of a dime. I also noticed a slight scratch/blemish that was caused by the installation card that helps get excess water / bubbles out during installation. The scratch went away, along with five of the bubbles, but the sixth one was still there after another 24 hours. I was slightly disappointed as I had thought the adhesive failed in this area, but after another two days (~96 hours total), all the bubbles were completely gone.

As for the cons, as another reviewer stated, the screen protector is soft and your fingers don’t slide smoothly over it. I could leave a small dent with my fingernail and it would stay there for a day or two (but then again, you shouldn’t be pressing anything as narrow as a fingernail to the screen that hard in the first place.) I’m guessing the softness of the screen protector is part of the self-healing technology since it buffs itself out from scratches, dents, etc.

It does a great job of reducing fingerprints/grease, compared to the tablet without the screen protector. You can still leave noticeable smudges if your fingers are really dirty/greasy, but that’s besides the point. The only reason I’m docking one star is because it feels very restrictive when sliding your fingers on it (and I’m being really picky with this)

Offers good protection against dirt and scratches. Pretty easy to put on if you take your time and use the provided tools. Bubbles will work themselves out after a week.

This Armor Suit is very easy to apply, and I finished in 20 minutes at the most (This includes having re-apply until I had it right). It also seems to resist finger smudges. I am not an employee of the company. Nor do I write reviews for a living. The shield is just that good.

I have to admit to being hard on my screens,so I like to get the screen protectors. This one was easy to get on and even better,no annoying bubbles to distract.

This does exactly what it says and works perfectly IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! I was a little hesitant to purchase due to the negative reviews but I know that Amazon does well with returns if you’re dissatisfied so I usually purchase with confidence. This fits my Samsung Galaxy Plus Tab perfectly and after 2-3 days the micro bubbles were gone leaving a streak-free, bubble-free viewing screen. Thank you very much!

The product is just as described. There were some bubbles after installation but the went away within 48 hours. Would definitely buy again.
